Hialeah Welcomes Floor & Décor to South Florida.
It’s not everyday that a company opens it’s door to lay the foundation for an entire city. On July 27, 2007 one company set out to do just that. Floor & Décor, the revolutionary concept in the home improvement category, opened it’s newest branch in Hialeah at 3890 West 18 Avenue. The day was filled with giveaways, raffles, and a ribbon cutting ceremony with the entire staff as well as prominent community leaders.
On hand to officially cut the ribbon was Mayor Julio Robaina, Council President Steve Bovo, Councilwoman Vivian Casals-Munoz, Floor and Décor President & CEO Michael K. Froning, Vice President Danny Biebricher, Hialeahtodo.com President Felix Chinea, as well as members from the Hialeah Chamber of Commerce. Mayor Julio Robaina thanked Mr. Froning, as well as General Manager Karen Guerrero by presenting them with a Certificate of Appreciation for choosing Hialeah for it’s store location.
The 60,000 sq. ft. store will be the second in South Florida and the 22nd store the retailer has opened since it’s inception in 2002. The store will provide customers an assortment of flooring options that will reflect a blend of design styles and tastes popular throughout South Florida. The store will employ over 40 people from entry level to supervisory positions.
